Does Heartwood have an HOA?
No — Heartwood does not have a Homeowners Association, and there are no mandatory HOA fees. Enjoy the community's parks, trails, and green spaces with no annual dues registered to your title.
Can I change my exterior paint colour?
All exterior colour changes must be approved and comply with the Heartwood Architectural Guidelines. Submit a request through our team before making any changes.
When does my landscaping need to be complete?
Front yard landscaping must be completed within the first growing season after possession. Refer to your Homeowner Handbook for full requirements.
What type of fence am I allowed to install?
Fencing must meet Heartwood's approved specifications for material, height, and style. Download the Fence Details document above for full specifications.
Who do I contact for warranty issues?
Warranty claims are handled directly by your builder. Contact information for each Heartwood builder can be found in your Homeowner Handbook.
Are there rules about parking RVs or trailers?
Recreational vehicles and trailers must be stored in an enclosed garage or off-site. Street parking restrictions apply as per City of Calgary bylaws.
Can I add a deck or pergola to my backyard?
Decks and outdoor structures require City of Calgary permits and must comply with Heartwood's architectural guidelines. Contact us before starting any project.
