In early May 2024, Rohit Communities broke ground on an exciting new project in SE Calgary. The Heartwood team gathered with builders, partners, and community members to mark the official start of construction — a milestone that set the stage for everything Heartwood has become.

From that first shovel in the dirt, Heartwood was designed around what matters most: family, nature, and connection. Today, the community continues to grow with each new home, each new resident, and each story added to the neighbourhood.

Carmen and Nicolas were drawn to the community for very practical reasons — they wanted to stay in the neighbourhood because it's ideally located in the middle of everything. Their search criteria were specific: they needed a main floor bedroom and bathroom for Carmen's mother, plus three bedrooms including a guest room. Bedrock Homes delivered exactly what they were looking for.

The grand opening celebration brought together residents, builders, partners, and the Heartwood team to mark the moment Heartwood opened its doors. From ribbon cutting to first tours, it was a day that set the tone for everything Heartwood is becoming.
